Our Strawberry Chia Seed Jam isn't your average spread. It's a prime example of how we've transformed traditional favorites into health-conscious delights without sacrificing taste. Crafted from organic strawberries and chia seeds, it's a powerhouse of natural sweetness, fiber, and antioxidants. Strawberry Chia See Jam Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups organic strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup organic unprocessed sugar
  • 1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar (or substitute with organic lemon juice)
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: If using fresh strawberries, wash them thoroughly and remove the stems. If using frozen, you can begin making the jam by placing them into the saucepan.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, add the strawberries and organic unprocessed sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the strawberries release their juices and begin to break down. This should take about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ACV: Stir in the organic apple cider vinegar. This will add a pleasant tanginess to the jam and acts as a natural preservative.
  4. Simmer: Continue to let the jam simmer on the stove for another 15 minutes, for a total cooking time of 20 minutes. The berries will naturally break down during the cooking process. Once the total cooking time has been reached, turn the stove off.
  5. Add Chia Seeds: Stir in the chia seeds. Wait for 3 minutes, allowing the seeds to begin absorbing moisture and expanding. After 3 minutes, give the chia seed jam one more stir to ensure even distribution.
  6. Cool and Store: Carefully transfer the jam to a 16 oz glass jar or container with a lid. Place it in the refrigerator and allow it to cool and set overnight. This resting period will help the jam thicken to the perfect consistency. Your homemade strawberry chia jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
